Read MoreAs this political season in the United States is coming to an end, I’m seeing what I’ve known for a while to be true — people do not want to know the truth. What is most surprising to me, though, is the number of believers that actually despise truth.
Read More“I am the vine and my Father is the vinedresser. Every branch in Me that does not bear fruit He takes away, and every branch that bears fruit He prunes, that it may bear more fruit.” John 15: 1-2 NKJV I’ve lived the bigger portion of my Christian life not understanding the message in this […]
Read MoreAlmost every believer will tell you that they’ve accepted Jesus Christ as their savior. We’re taught that accepting Jesus is the only way to salvation, and without this acceptance, we’re condemned to an eternity in hell. For a lot of people, just hearing that statement is all it takes to accept Jesus…
Read MoreAt the very beginning of the Covid-19 pandemic, I knew that the Lord was using this time to, at the very least, examine the church. Honestly, I felt like it was more of a judgement & restructuring. I told my wife back in March that I hoped that this wouldn’t end too soon and that we, […]
Read More“Now then, we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were pleading through us…” 2 Cor. 5: 20. Paul saw believers as ambassadors for Christ and His kingdom. He believed that the lives of believers should represent the life of Jesus and of His kingdom. I happen to agree with him. When I think about […]
Read MoreMy friend John just posted this on Facebook, and as soon as I saw it, I asked his permission to share it on my blog. It is a message that the church must hear & come to terms with. So, with his blessing, I’m honored to introduce you to my very good friend, John Miltenberger…
Read MoreEarlier this year as Covid-19 began to shake things up, my wife and I talked at length about how the body of Christ would be exposed in this. I recall saying that I felt that the rooftops of churches were going to be peeled back, uncovering those hiding under religion and separating church affiliates from the ones who make up the actual Church. What I’m seeing playing out in open view is that the faith community is shrinking drastically. I’m not talking about people walking away from Christianity, but people who claim to be of the faith, but are so lost in denial of how our faith is calling us to respond that they cannot see straight….
Read More“…And when He got into the boat, his disciples followed him. And behold, there arose a great storm on the sea, so that the boat was being swamped by the waves; but He was asleep. And they went and woke Him, saying, “Save us, Lord; we are perishing. ”And He said to them, “Why are […]
Read MoreIn “The Revelation of Truth: Part 1” I touched on the revealed identity of Jesus contrasted by the known identity of Jesus. To quickly summarize, the natural truths of His identity were made irrelevant and obsolete when divinely revealed truth was made known. For instance, the disciples had seen and heard Jesus operating as the […]
Read MoreHello, my name is Nathan Vierra. I’d like to take a minute to welcome you to my website and let you know a little bit about myself. I was born in Oakland, California in 1975. I enlisted in the United States Navy in 1995 and met my wife, Melissa, in the summer of ‘97 while stationed in Ingleside, Texas. We have now been married for 22 years. Our son Zion came 12 months after we were married. Five months later we moved to Lexington, Kentucky, where our daughter Natali was born a couple years down the road. Zion recently married Brooke, so we now have a wonderful daughter-in-law as well. I am currently studying at Christian Leaders Institute and I am ordained through Christian Leaders Alliance. I live with my wife and daughter in Kansas City, Missouri, where we are active members of World Revival Church.
