Learning Discerning

A Church without discernment is a dangerous thing. As followers of Christ, we must come to the point of maturity where discernment and righteous judgement are continually in operation. We’ve been conditioned to listen for these things coming from the mouths of church leaders, but have largely forsaken the responsibility to allow these areas to […]

Unfolding The Fivefold Ministry

What if your church had no music or song service? Could you worship without song? What if there were no programs? Could children, abused women, divorcees, and recovering alcoholics gather in the same place and be equally ministered to? What if there were no weekly agenda, no growth track or building plans? Take away the […]

Sacrificially Speaking

As this political season in the United States is coming to an end, I’m seeing what I’ve known for a while to be true — people do not want to know the truth. What is most surprising to me, though, is the number of believers that actually despise truth.

About Me

Loves Jesus, loves learning about Jesus, Loves talking about Jesus, and loves writing about Jesus

Hello, my name is Nathan Vierra. I’d like to take a minute to welcome you to my website and let you know a little bit about myself. I was born in Oakland, California in 1975. I enlisted in the United States Navy in 1995 and met my wife, Melissa, in the summer of ‘97 while stationed in Ingleside, Texas. We have now been married for 22 years. Our son Zion came 12 months after we were married. Five months later we moved to Lexington, Kentucky, where our daughter Natali was born a couple years down the road. Zion recently married Brooke, so we now have a wonderful daughter-in-law as well. I am currently studying at Christian Leaders Institute and I am ordained through Christian Leaders Alliance. I live with my wife and daughter in Kansas City, Missouri, where we are active members of World Revival Church.
